Aahh! Houston on Friday yay. Yay for the concert we're going to, not yay for Houston. I'm not really a fan of the city. It's just too large with not enough uniqueness for me.
Plus it's in Texas. Ew.

Eric's parents are going to come into town for Labor Day.
I'm not sure if this makes me happy or nervous.
I really like his mom, she and I are very much alike. But I'm afraid his dad secretly hates me because I am much younger/in school/broke. These are all valid concerns, but I wish he'd get to know me a little better (I truly am a nice girl and Eric is obviously happy).
I fear he likes our cat more than he likes me: "Eric, why don't you come for a visit and bring Cosmo?"

Perhaps I can use Labor Day weekend to woo him with my charm and Southrin' cooking.

Any ideas?
